I went to the Electronics Test Centre to test a prototype space instrument. The “Mini Plasma Imager” measures upper-atmospheric winds, and will fly on a NASA sounding rocket in late 2018. The instrument had to be vibration tested according to NASA specifications. I was put in contact with Sergiy the ETC vibration technician, whom I found to be attentive to our requirements and concerns, from designing the mechanical interface for their vibration table through to completing the tests. I am very happy with the service and professionalism my technician and I experienced at ETC.
